Blitch Knevel Architects was recently selected to assist St. Martin’s Episcopal School with the development of a Master Plan for the Metairie campus, with initial emphasis on the following:
Athletic Field House
9,850 SF – $1,900,000
A new field house, including locker rooms, support facilities and a lobby for receptions and trophy displays. A second level reception desk will be provided overlooking the athletic fields. The structure is to be an “icon” for the Athletic sector of the Campus, including the school logo in a tower structure.
The Larry Gibbs Family Center for Innovation + Design
5,200 SF – $1,100,000
An “IDEA” laboratory for robotics and experimentation will be a focus of the academic portion of the campus. Blitch Knevel Architects is using it’s expertise at St. Mary’s Dominican High School with a new technology center with a similar programmatic focus.
George Cottage
2,100 SF – $500,000
Expansion of the existing Day Care facility to accommodate
additional capacity and age groups.
Sustainability planning techniques are being used, including a “rain garden” and alternative energy sources.
