This new Catholic Church is designed to accomodate 1000 worshippers in a simplified early Christian basilica style, updated with a fan-seating plan to bring the congregation together in prayer during services. The roof trusses recall 14th century churches in Italy with arcades and arched side aisles providing a traditional feeling to the liturgical space. 19th Century stained glass windows from an abandoned church were incorporated into the design.
