“The design that Blitch/Knevel gave us for New Orleans’ first continuing care retirement community is not only functional, but aesthetically satisfying, as well. Lambeth House won national design awards even before it was built.” – CONSTANCE CLARK, FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER

Blitch/Knevel’s design for the Lambeth House Senior Living Community was awarded a Citation for Design Excellence by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Association of Homes for the Aging (AAHA). Through this innovative design, Uptown Square Shopping Center was transformed into a unique mix of senior living units and retail shops. The Lambeth House is the first Continuing Care Retirement Community in New Orleans.
