Architect, 5+ years experience
Position Description: Blitch Knevel Architects is seeking an experienced and motivated architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of projects. Candidates must be licensed to practice architecture and have considerable knowledge of building technology and construction processes. This Architect position will require a candidate with a positive attitude, the ability to prioritize and manage tasks against deadlines and to operate in a fast-paced workplace. Experience in healthcare, senior living and educational projects is preferred, and experience in AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite software is required.

Interior Designer, 3 – 5 years Experience
Position Description: Seeking an experienced and motivated licensed interior designer with a minimum of 3 years experience. Responsibilities will include collaboration with project team, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documents and planning and developing FF&E budgets, coordinating finish plans, specifications and material selections and coordinating with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps to meet the overall project objectives. The Interior Designer position will require a candidate with a positive attitude, the ability to work within a collaborative team, possess strong critical-thinking skills, have a high visual acuity, and strong organizational, communication and coordination skills, have the ability to prioritize and manage task against deadlines and to operate in a fast – paced workplace. Experience in AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite software is required.
Blitch Knevel Architects provides paid summer student internships to qualified candidates.
- Successful completion of third-year coursework towards a B.Arch or as a second-year student in a M.Arch program
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup
Summer internships are typically mid-May thru mid-August and are a full-time, 40-hour work schedule. Student Interns are placed within architectural project teams.
